During this semester I really began to loosen up a lot and tell more stories. I believe this is when I decided that students are very interested by the people behind the mathematics. I found that stories and a little bit of fun stuff on the side can really make a difference in a student's attention span. I taught approximately 30-40 students

This was a truly wonderful semester. I taught a class of students seven hours a week and I really fulfilled my urge to fully examine each subject in MTH103 and leave no stone unturned. In addition there was also some time for my new found love of mathematical story telling. I taught 15 students this semester.

It had always been a dream of mine to teach Calculus I. I feel that it was my high school Calculus course that really pushed me into my mathematical career path. I told my students on the first day that I hoped I could do the subject justice and that some of them would also be pushed towards mathematical careers. I had 35 students this semester.
